Winter storm tests Baytown family's endurance
Stacy Parent, a lifelong Baytown resident, recalls a February 15 to 17 power outage during a historic cold snap. With temperatures sinking to 14 degrees and a 52 hour blackout, the family endured candlelight, a gas-heated home, and a later water failure before power and water returned. Their faith, family, and limited provisions kept them resilient throughout the ordeal.
Baytown adjusts winter storm water bills for residents
