Barrett Civic League Hosts Community Cleanup Event
Barrett Station Civic League led by Willie Dolly Goodlow with Harris County Commissioner Sylvia Garcia's office support organized a cleanup day providing refreshments and social time for Harris County workers and residents. Goodlow noted advertising challenges after closing of a community post office and a Crosby laundromat. She called the event a blessing and weather favorable, despite past hurricane-related cancellations. Baytown plans two additional community cleanups Trash Bash on March 25 at the Baytown Nature Center and Trash Off on April 1 at the Wetlands Center.
