Strategic play in six hearts with endplay pattern
In a six heart contract with West leading clubs, North's rebid signals values. South plans plays to set up endplays after a controlled sequence: win trick in hand, draw trumps, cash spade ace, cross to dummy club ace, ruff a spade, return to dummy with a trump, then set up the spade queen. If East can produce the spade king, the endplay options shift but the central plan remains to force West into a ruff and stuff or a lead away from diamond king, depending on East’s return. The key is timing the diamond finesse and spade plays to maximize endplay chances.
