A Chambers County jury took an hour and a half to convict Ronnie Lee Odom, 40, of nine charges involving young boys in 2009. The verdict followed a four day trial, with victims’ families weeping as the decision was read and punishment deliberations to begin. Evidence showed grooming at two locations Liberty County and Chambers County. The mother of one victim testified about the trauma and a son’s withdrawal and depression afterward.
