Enron executives pressured to use reserves to meet targets

In Houston, former Enron North America chief David Delainey testified that under CEO Jeffrey Skilling and auditor Richard Causey, Enron routinely dipped into reserves to hit and beat earnings goals. He recalled meetings in 2000 praising the practice, while noting it was improper to use reserves for discretionary gains.

CenterPoint Energy posts 19 percent Q4 earnings drop
