Henry Lee Lucas confessed after long discussions with Chambers County officials to the July 11 1980 robbery and murder of Betty Kay Choate 41 at Mainland Savings and Loan near Mont Belvieu. He was held on capital murder charges in Georgetown Texas and also implicated two other unsolved killings.
