Critics oppose moving 322000 in capital expenses from the city to the district arguing the fire tax should fund ambulances training facility and equipment. The plan includes 600000 for finalizing a fire training facility on Bayway Drive with phases in 21 acres bought from ExxonMobil. The next district meeting is July 21 with bids and public hearings ahead of approvals by August 27.
