A 21 year old woman reported her engagement ring valued at 2700 dollars stolen from her car at Walter Jenkins Park on Crosby Cedar Bayou Road. She had left the ring in the ash tray and the windows down while jogging. Burglary occurred while she was away.
A 20 year old Baytown man was arrested at 3529 Crosby Cedar Bayou Road after officers found warrants for failure to appear. He was later released without charges when authorities realized the warrants did not belong to him. Police fielded 179 calls between Friday and Saturday, including 15 alarms and multiple thefts, burglaries, assaults, and accidents.
Baytown Inspection Division recorded permits totaling 562 341 dollars for June 17 to 23 for residential and commercial projects.
