Beach City Marks Twentieth Anniversary and Incorporation
Beach City celebrated its twentieth anniversary with a recounting of its incorporation process. In 1966 an election approved incorporation by a landslide, establishing a city bounded by Farm Road 2354 and Trinity Bay with mayor Mrs. Jordan and aldermen including W.D. Bush and A. J. Crowley. The town later expanded and moved its offices to a Bay area site, emphasizing accessibility, no taxes, and strong local appeal as noted by residents.
