Baytown police investigate a probable drag racing crash on West Sterling Avenue near Memorial Baptist Church. About 2:30 p.m. Monday two cars raced at high speed. one vehicle may have forced another off the road and struck a light pole. Life Flight was reportedly called.

Crosby auto dealer jailed on new charges in Harris County
Harris County DA files four counts of sexual assault of a child aged 14 to 17, one count of sexual performance by a child, one count of compelling prostitution by a person under 18 and one count of witness tampering against 52 year old Riku Pekka Melartin, owner of a Crosby dealership. Little Theater wins multiple awards at national festival Carmel
The American Association of Community Theater national competition in Carmel Indiana June 17 22 honored aytown Little Theater for its production God of Carnage. Taylor Dobbs won best directing Amy Miller Martin was named best actress in a featured role and the team received awards for best set design and backstage decorum with second place overall Kenny Haney earned a best leading actor nomination. The production has earned additional locally and regionally for directing and design.
