Arkansas man indicted in fraud case ties Baytown couple
Federal charges accuse Mark C. Madison of wire and mail fraud in Little Rock with a $90,999 Baytown transfer. The Arkansas Securities Commissioner lists a Baytown couple among victims, described as longtime church connections who liquidated pensions to invest with Madison but say funds were not invested as promised and used for prior investors and personal spending. Each of 40 counts carries up to 20 years' imprisonment and fines up to $250,000.
