Texas man indicted for using Justin Leonard's identity
A 30-year-old Texas man, Joel Keith Bridger, was indicted by a Tarrant County grand jury on fraudulent use or possession of identifying information for opening credit cards and a cell phone account in the name of pro golfer Justin Leonard. Bridger, a convicted felon with a history of bail jumping, flashed Leonard's ID at a post office to collect mail, prompting a clerk to flag the impersonation and triggering PGA security and FBI involvement. Leonard, a Dallas native, declined comment through his agent.
