Baytonian Injured In Cycle Crash At Highway 146

Wayne H. Hicks of 2003 Ter ace Lane suffered injuries in a motorcycle automobile collision at 6:46 p.m. Friday at Highway 146 and Pleasant Drive. He was taken to Gulf Coast Hospital by Baytown Ambulance. Police say Charles Shoulders pulled from a private lot into the road, failing to yield. he was charged with failure to yield right of way.

Revaluation is annual with assessed values weighed against market values to target a 50 percent assessment ratio. The 1970 properties listed span multiple neighborhoods and key sites, with last year’s Baytown market value totaling 358.2165 million, about tenfold the post consolidation value 25 years earlier.

Joint Rites Set Sunday for Infant and Great Grandmother

Joint services are planned for 2 p.m. Sunday at Mount Zion Baptist Church for Mrs. Missouri Ford and her infant great granddaughter. The infant, daughter of Mr and Mrs Frankie Johnson, died Friday in a Baytown hospital. Survivors include two brothers Dewane Gerome Johnson of Baytown and grandmothers Mrs Bessie Mae Johnson of Mont Belvieu and Mrs L C Bland of Houston.
