Prof Lightningstreak Drenching Rehearsals Stir Albany Fandangle
About 300 cast and crew of Albany's Fort Griffin Fandangle wrestle with rain. Prof Lightningstreak, played by Richard Middlebrook, aims to summon showers, canceling rehearsals and soaking mud as the outdoor spectacle gears toward opening night. The annual production blends frontier humor, live animals, sets, and songs including A Cowboy's Prayer.
