Astronaut Edward White recalls Gemini 4 flight antics
Edward White recounts the Gemini 4 space walk as Maj. James McDivitt aids the mission from Kennedy Space Center. He recalls the glove detaching, the thruster sparks, and seeing Earth’s surface as the capsule orbited. White jokes about McDivitt’s tense moments and notes the lunar-like spray, then describes the return splashdown and recovery.
