Rangers Hold Off as Hamilton Absence Puts Strain on Offense
Rangers lead AL West at mid June without Josh Hamilton who is sidelined after abdominal surgery. Ian Kinsler and Michael Young insist the team can win without him while offense slumps to .197 over a homestand as Toronto and the Dodgers sweep. Los Angeles Angels close gap to 2 1/2 games. Hamilton last played May 31 and is expected to miss about a month.
