Kroger will not build a new store at Ward Road and Alexander Baytown saying business reasons led Houston division to discontinue construction. Joy Partain thanked Mayor DonCarlos and Marketplace on Garth Road while noting plans to improve the existing Ward Road Kroger and continuing city collaboration.
