Baytown man to prison after guilty drug trafficking plea
A 42 year old Baytown man pleaded guilty to conspiracy to posses with intent to distribute cocaine and money laundering. U S District Attorney said Jose Quiroga admitted leading part of an organization trafficking cocaine and fentanyl from Houston to Beaumont and beyond into Louisiana and Mississippi. A June 17 2017 traffic stop recovered $51040 in cash from a hidden tailgate compartment. Further investigation tied Quiroga to the operation.
