Oil rig counts fall nationwide by eleven in week
Baker Hughes data shows U S active drilling rigs drop to 876 this week, down from over 1,000 a year ago. Of the 876, 183 target oil and 685 natural gas, eight are miscellaneous. Texas loses seven rigs, Colorado five, Alaska two, Arkansas one. North Dakota gains two, Louisiana and New Mexico one each. Wyoming, California and Oklahoma unchanged.
