CIS Job Fair seeks partners for Katrina evacuee aid in Baytown
Communities in Schools in cooperation with United Way seeks organizations to participate in a July 8 job fair offering employment housing medical and monetary aid for Katrina and Rita evacuees. CIS coordinator Ursula Patterson notes the event lacks a central Baytown venue and needs small to large companies. Evacuees say they plan to stay for better schools in Goose Creek ISD and a job is their first need to cover medical childcare and food. For info contact Ursula Patterson at 281-420-4424.
