Chambers County Commissioners voted Monday to grant a five-year tax abatement for a proposed West Chambers County warehouse after a brief public hearing during Commissioners Court. The action supports development plans and potential job creation in the region.
CRIC Bayer LLC proposes constructing a 175,000 square foot warehouse south of See WAREHOUSE on Page 5A to consolidate storage. The project aims to reduce the number of warehouse locations for the chemical company and streamline operations.
At a Monday City Council meeting Arnold Pierce of Schaumburg & Polk Inc. outlined that the 50,000-gallon storage tower, fifty years old, is in fair condition with interior rust on walls and a faulty 1-food pipe.
