Full Moon Hike at Baytown Nature Center
Baytown Nature Center offers its Full Moon Hike program inviting visitors to explore the 450 acre park by moonlight. Naturalist Crissy Butcher will lead monthly tours to different areas to observe nocturnal animals during 90 minute hikes meeting at 8 p.m. in the Visitor's Center parking lot.

Mont Belvieu police handled five traffic crashes and several investigations from May 29 to June 4. A Baytown man reported his truck stolen from Motel 6 on May 31 after drinking with others. A Mont Belvieu woman aged 27 was arrested on June 1 on traffic warrants. A Hemphill man, 31, was arrested June 1 for resisting arrest after a stop for a traffic offense. A Deer Park warrant led to a June 1 arrest of a 43-year-old man for continuous violence on a family member. A Houston man, 30, faced two traffic charges after a stop on Highway 146. A white 2003 Ford F-350 with a welding machine was stolen from Iguana Joe's. loss about 45500. Tools valued over 1000 were stolen from a contractor’s lot on Williams Street. A Montgomery County–stolen vehicle was found abandoned on Winfree Street. A 41-year-old Alvin woman was arrested Wednesday around 1 am after being observed walking in traffic on Highway 146. Police noted crime reports derive from the department.
