Gromax Development and DR Horton closed a 2.2 million contract to develop 450 lots on 128.2 acres replacing the Goose Creek Country Club golf course. DR Horton will begin street work in August with first homes by spring 2016. eight additional DR Horton lots were under contract from individual owners.
Four veteran groups host Appreciation Day for Baytown area veterans and families at VFW Post 912 on Saturday June 20 from 11 am to 3 pm. Free lunch, Presentation of Colors, Flag Retirement Ceremony, and a car show with Open Entry Show & Shine and People's Choice trophies are planned.
