June Trout Topwater Fishing In Matagorda Bay Reveals Good Spreads
Anglers report June fishing heating up as a cold front calms winds and trout flood favorite haunts from Port O’Connor to East Matagorda Bay. Topwater lures dominate wading in shallower flats while boaters work deep reefs like Halfmoon and Long Reef for steady action. Live shrimp under mid coast popping corks prove best drifting in East Matagorda Bay.
