Bayou Bowl aids Shriner hospital funds with fish fry
Shriners say no charges are ever made to patients or families and raise funds through events to support hospitals. Last year the Bayou Bowl provided about $35,000, with $29,000 the prior year and $15,000 the year before. This year they hope to top $35,000 as players, families, and fans join fish fry, autograph sessions, and a Fan Fest before a Stallworth Stadium game. Funds support hospital care for children who cannot afford it.
