GOOTS Ignore Pandemic Fame as Baytown Club Persists
The GOOTS or Gathering of Old Tools enters its seventh season as a Baytown informal group centered around weekly meetings at Luby's. Led by Gary Herrington, the members include Jepp Busch, Leo Hechler, and Pete Sultis among others, with many former school staffers and newspaper workers. The club, while playful and not constitutionally formal, remains a tight-knit circle that enjoys camaraderie and shared histories.
