Goose Creek ISD scored below the Texas average on most TAKS exams this spring, with 18 of 26 subjects under state performance. In contrast Anahuac Barbers Hill and Crosby districts surpassed the state average on more than 70 percent of tests. Third graders must pass reading. 11th graders need four subject passes to graduate.
