Green says port bill OK expected
State Senator Gene Green said Gov. Bill Clements will likely sign a bill expanding the Houston Port Authority Commission from five to seven members. The measure, approved by both houses, would allow Pasadena to appoint one of the two new members and keep joint chairmanship with Houston. The governor has until June 2021 to act amid a special session on tort reform and budget issues.
