Park approved as auxiliary court location in Anahuac
The Chambers County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to allow White Park Community Building to serve as an auxiliary court facility and auxiliary county seat for district court proceedings. Built to provide space for Judge Chap B. Cain III, the measure follows Senate Bill 643, with the building to be used until a new facility is ready. The court also discussed TxDOT plans for FM 565 South, presenting two options with bids in October 2016.
