BP refinery safety report warns of renewed disaster risk
A report prepared for Texas City blast victims accuses BP of continuing federal safety violations at the Houston area refinery. It cites an abysmal safety record since 2005, OSHA fines, and inadequate audits. The document questions the adequacy of a BP plea deal and watchdog terms, warning of potential further fires or fatalities.
