BPD Plans Public CALEA Accreditation Open House
The Baytown Police Department prepares for a CALEA accreditation review with an open house tour of the department and program displays. Swat mounted and special operations representatives will explain day to day practices as inspectors review policy files and proofs. A public forum at 7 p.m. will invite citizens to share views on accreditation and standards.

Baytown Police invites public information session Monday at 7 p.m. in the Robert P. Merchant Academy at 203 E. Wye Drive. If speaking is not possible, call 281-420-6656 Monday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Ten minute limit applies to comments addressing CALEA standards.
