A man reported an assault at a Baytown bar in the 400 block of East Texas Avenue on Thursday. He said another man stood closely behind him at a urinal startled him, he shoved back, and they wrestled. He suffered minor injuries but did not press charges.
Resisting 26 year old woman charged with interference with public duties and evading after fleeing a sheriff's deputy working an off duty job at a bar in the 4500 block of Garth Road about 2 am Friday. Deputy asked her to leave. she refused and was caught across the street. Burglaries reported in Eastpoint Boulevard, North Alexander Drive, and Roll ingbrook Drive. Thefts include electronics, tools, a laptop, and items from vehicles and a building with values up to 1500 dollars.
Lee College will prioritize high school graduation plus industry certifications to boost post graduation employment. The program began with 72 students aiming for certificates. many will be awarded by the college. Renovations to the pool support expanded aquatics education and lifeguard training in Baytown and Mont Belvieu.
