Public comments on Grand Parkway project invite input
TxDOT and the Grand Parkway Association encouraged written comments on the project submitted by mail or email. David Garnet noted strong public turnout and addressed concerns about Beach City access and traffic lights at new interchanges. He explained lights are added only when counts require them and that feeder roads will merge with main lanes at two water crossings and one railroad crossing. Kevin Troller called turnout positive and warned against delaying construction beyond 2014. Pat Henry outlined the Houston District’s purpose.
