Sisters Return to St Joseph School in Daytown
A group of St Joseph School alumni visited the renovated convent on Sunday and met former teachers. Third grade Sister Mary Jude and fourth grade Sister Stephen Christopher will teach this fall, marking a return of nuns to classes after many years. Kellie Bilaud Skarda recalled the sisters’ influence, noting life returning to how it was in childhood. Over 20 nuns from Houston came to view the updated convent as parishioners had worked over the summer.
