Enron bonus lawsuits target top executives and traders
Houston lawsuits allege 286 upper managers and traders had contracts amended in late 2001 to secure large bonuses before bankruptcy. They claim checks cleared after filing, seek return of funds, and aim to restore fairness as former employees face losses. Committee spokesman Richard Rathvon says most recipients got 200000 to 5 million and one trader's bonus reached 8 million.

Kimberly-Clark Q2 earnings slip on slower diaper demand
Kimberly-Clark reported Q2 profit of 417.3 million or 82 cents per share, down from 424.6 million or 81 cents a year ago, as diaper and tissue sales growth lagged. The firm unveiled a three division plan aiming 3 to 5 percent annual sales growth, with overall revenue at 3.54 billion, helped by a 4 percent currency boost amid higher energy and material costs.
