Baytown hears flood bond case at Chamber luncheon
Donald Van Sickle of the Houston Chamber argues a $30 million Harris County flood control bond plan will cost owner of a $20,000 home about $8.40 yearly, with an emergency need to fund drainage projects. Tom Langford warns bonds must pass to avoid major staff cuts and a shutdown of flood control efforts. Both Chambers back the proposal as vital for Houston and Harris County.
