Hawks Baseball Team Builds Legacy Across Generations
Bebe Garcia recalls coaching Pete Sultis at Robert E. Lee High School in 1954 and traces the origin of the Hawks in 1957. The program grew into an international, multi‑tournament force led by the Garcia family with Hall of Fame inductions, imports from Mexico and Argentina, and players spanning several decades, many tied to Latin American heritage. The Hawks sustain their momentum through family sponsorships, business support, and ongoing participation in two to three annual tours.
