Old Auto Restoring Is Challenge in Cambridge
Dale Price, a 31 year old restorer on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, repairs and preserves antique autos for the Smithsonian Highway Collection. He dismantles cars to the last belt, often spending about a year per restoration, and plans to tackle an 1868 velocipede next for the Smithsonian while noting modern cars lack necessity for his work.
