Mont Belvieu Earns Aa2 Bond Rating Upgrade
Mont Belvieu received a Aa2 rating from Moody’s Investors Service marking the city’s first credit upgrade. Officials credited strong liquidity, a growing tax base tied to energy infrastructure, and the leadership of Finance Director Caryn Wesson, Management Analyst Dalton Rice, and Assistant City Manager Scott Swigert. City leaders say the upgrade supports capital projects, growth, and continued high service levels.
