Willard B. Sullivan aged 72 of 5100 Tamarach died at 7 30 am Tuesday in a Baytown hospital. A World War I veteran he had lived here two years in the home of his sister in law Mrs P B G Sullivan after retiring from Sheffield Steel Co in Houston. A carpenter, he was found to have died from a personal safety related gunshot wound in the chest per Harris County medical examiner Dr. Robert Bucklin. Survived by wife Sally, two sons Robert H. Fabian Jr and Thomas Barl Fabian, a brother Bud Fabian of Stoneham Texas, a sister Ethel Grissom of Houston, and three grandchildren. Edward Elton Smith of Alvin was injured when his car left Highway 35 east of Angleton and struck a sign. He drove about a mile for help, with his left arm broken, before reaching Danbury and then being taken to Memorial Hospital. He was released days later after the incident.
