PORT ARTHUR July 12 Two refinery workers died in a crude still explosion at the Texas Company plant. The victims were John M. Hicks 53 foreman and Henry Vestal 41 both new to work. Firemen controlled the blaze in about 40 minutes. Damages not yet determined but production expected to continue. Smoke rose over the refinery located about 20 blocks from the city edge.
