Army Says United States Facing Whipping in Korea

Mechanic Hurt When Car Falls At Franta Garage

Johnny Peska a 32 year old mechanic at Franta Motor Company in Highlands suffered a spinal fracture when a car dropped from an elevated position after an air jack failed. Huber Corp Plans Gulf Coast Carbon Black Plant

The J. M. Huber Corporation will build a $1.5 million carbon black plant near Baytown on the Gulf Coast. Construction starts soon and should be finished by March 1. The plant aims to produce 30,000,900 pounds annually and joins Borger as the company’s large carbon black operation.
