Anahuac students launch hybrid rocket despite setback
High school seniors Henry and Shon Patton describe a patience testing build and a rocky flight at White Sands. The rocket finally lifted after two years of effort, reaching 600 feet before a combustion chamber leak caused a crash. The team views the flight as a learning, collaborative experience and real world preparation with NASA and Boeing engineers.
