Berkman sidelined with sore left eye for Astros
Lance Berkman did not play Sunday against the Braves due to a sore left eye. Darin Erstad started at first, Hunter Pence moved to No 3, and Berkman planned to seek medical advice later. Berkman led the NL in runs, hits, and doubles and ranked high in bases and slugging. Oswalt returned from a hip strain but was kept from starting as Astros reevaluate.
