Baytown Marked With Civil War History Signs

Baytown joins 393 Texas towns awarded highway markers by the Texas State Historical Survey Committee to highlight Civil War history. Signs, placed by the Texas Highway Department and contracted by the State Building Commission, aim to attract tourists and stimulate local interest in Texas towns along travel routes.
