Sterling pitchers ride wave of success through decade
Sterling College baseball has produced a string of Division I quality pitchers. Marshall, a 2007 junior, marked the latest star after rising from all-state to a sixth round Yankees pick. Earlier arms include Lansford, Fadal, Salinas, Albus, Heinrich, and Cox, with many moving on to Houston Baptist, Ranger, Sam Houston State, and other programs. Tadlock notes cycles of standout talent and development through the early 2000s.
