Anahuac pitcher Krysta Martin signs with Galveston College
Krysta Martin, a key Anahuac softball player who helped the team reach area playoffs, will play for Galveston College next season after leaving a delayed signing with Lamar State-Port Arthur. She pitched barefoot in a campus workout, earned a college invitation, and cited Galveston’s honesty and a strong NJCAA program as decisive factors. The move caps a rise from a 2-win sophomore season to a 21-10 record this year and follows the Orangefield connection to Galveston.
