Baytown lone star Walmsley’s football to medical career
Walmsley, a high school standout at AEL, earned All-State honors and Texas Hall of Fame induction. He starred for Rice, won a 100 yard dash, and later practiced medicine in Baytown from 1957 to 1994. He recalled wartime memories, teammates, and the drive to persevere in both sports and medicine.
