Ring Freedom's Message and the True Path to Independence
A compact history refutes the popular Fourth of July tale of the Liberty Bell ringing in Philadelphia on July 4 1776. It traces the real sequence: independence declared July 2 1776, drafts shaped July 3–4, first public reading July 8, 1776, and later signing dynamics through 1778, with emphasis on John Dunlap prints and the true timing of the Declaration’s engrossment and readings.
