Opening of 225 Through Pasadena Set
Pasadena will gain a from downtown bypass as the 225 corridor to Houston via Pasadena and Highway 225 opens next week. The six lane road from Richey Street to east of Red Bluff Road will remove several downtown stops. A Pasadena Chamber spokesman cited a July 7 ceremony at 10 a.m. with a Highway Department official cautioning completion may slip to July 11 or 12.
